Leveraging Inclusive WASH For Empowerment in Pakistan

Leveraging Inclusive WASH for Empowerment (LIFE-Pakistan) Project is the initiative of Environmental Protection Society (EPS) Swat in partnership with International Rescue Committee (IRC). The project is financially supported by Department of Foreign Affair & Trade (DFAT) Australia form it’s Water for Women Fund (WWF). Target area of the project is District Swat. Overall goal of the project is Gender equitable and socially inclusive WASH services for improved health conditions of marginalized groups. The three main objectives of the project are; to expand inclusive and sustainable WASH services, to improve inclusive WASH governance systems, and to increase women’s, girls’, and other marginalized groups decision making around WASH activities. LIFE Project has been started from August 01, 2018. Currently EPS has signed one year agreement which will end on July 30, 2019. This is four & half year project and its agreement will be renewed on annual basis.
