| Social and Physical Development |
|
EPS is well aware that social and physical developments are complementary to each other. The Society tries to avail every opportunity necessary for the social and physical uplift. EPS organizes an annual CBOs (Community Board Organizations) Conference on regular basis for the last few years. Not only CBOs from all over the working area of EPS but other relevant people are also invited to the annual CBOs Conference. This has always been a very successful activity because in it relevant current issues are also addressed. EPS also arranges sporadic activities about current social and developmental issues that need attention, e.g. a one day PEOPLES ASSEMBLY was arranged in March 2001, where the Devolution Plan was discussed. The last CBOs Conference was held in July 2003 which was eighth of its nature. In this Conference information about CCBs formation and their role in the development of the country was the main item. The said conference was chaired by Provincial Minister for Science and Technology.
