EPS is in contract agreement with CARE International in Pakistan for carrying out activities under Household Level Interventions for Women Awareness in Decision Making (HIWAD) Project in the four union councils of district Shangla.

Aims of the Project:
|
The HIWAD project aims at sensitizing the stakeholders and communities’ activists and gender issues, organizing women in small group to sensitize them on gender and to improve their livelihood.

Activities:

Gender awareness sessions for staff, community activists and government officials

Mobilizing and organizing community’s women in small groups

Vocational training for women

Educating women on different issues

Linking women with micro finance services
-
Building capacity of women in basic emergency response
