REHABILITATION CAMPS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES Environmental Protection Society (EPS) organized 25 days Free Rehabilitation Camps for the People with Disabilities from 4th to 28th of July 2011 in three Union Councils of District Swat i.e. U/C Kanju, U/C Koza Bandai and U/C Tootano Bandai.

Strengthening Democratic Governance Program in Pakistan
EPS entered in an agreement with South Asia Partnership Pakistan for Strengthening Democratic Governance Program in Swat in July 2005. Initially for two months project which ended in August 2005. EPS intervened in all the sixty-five union councils of district Swat. After the successful implementation of the project it was extended for one year starting in January 2006 in three union councils of Swat namely Islmapur, Saidu Sharif and Gul Kada. Approximate value of the project is Rs, 3, 80,175.

Aims of the Project:

The Strengthening Democratic Governance Program of EPS in collaboration with SAP Pakistan aims at building the capacity of elected representatives particularly peasant, minorities and women.

  3. Formation of PWGs
  4. Exposure visits
  5. Orientation of PWGs
  6. Formation of District Focal Group
