Skilled Workforce Development Project in collaboration with USAID Pakistan Jobs (Jul 1, 2010 to Sep 30, 2010) with approximate value of Rs. 1500000/-
Aims of the Project:
The new idea to provide on the job training opportunity to the poor and jobless population of the area and Pakistan Job Project was conceived. It was planned to implement the project through local organizations. EPS being the most experienced nongovernmental organization of the region submitted a proposal to implement the project in construction sector.
Activities:
1.Provided on Job training and placed 350 persons in various employable trades for a period of 3 months in Swat
2. 60 to 70% of the trainee apprentices self employed or placed in potential construction projects.
