10 Days Workshop on Sustainable Livelihood & Enterprise Development for Vulnerable Groups EPS Disability team attended 10 days workshop on “Sustainable Livelihood & Enterprise Development for Vulnerable Groups” from May 17-28, 2011 at ECI Islamabad. The aim of the workshop was to build the capacity of the staff regarding Sustainable Livelihood & Enterprise Development for Vulnerable Groups and to provide them an opportunity to practice these guidelines for business incubations in the targeted areas.

EPS in partnership with Concern Worldwide through a project on early recovery (ERSFAP Project) held a cash grants distribution ceremony in union council Kalam and Utror for the selected 72 affected and most deserving flood affected small businesses holders. Masroor Ahmad (Project Manager-EPS) took a comprehensive training session on how to develop a small business and marketing techniques. First installment (60%) of cash grants was paid. These beneficiaries will be checked for transparent utilization of cash grants and then the second and last installment of 40% will be released.
