REHABILITATION CAMPS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES Environmental Protection Society (EPS) organized 25 days Free Rehabilitation Camps for the People with Disabilities from 4th to 28th of July 2011 in three Union Councils of District Swat i.e. U/C Kanju, U/C Koza Bandai and U/C Tootano Bandai.

10 Days Workshop on Sustainable Livelihood & Enterprise Development for Vulnerable Groups EPS Disability team attended 10 days workshop on “Sustainable Livelihood & Enterprise Development for Vulnerable Groups” from May 17-28, 2011 at ECI Islamabad. The aim of the workshop was to build the capacity of the staff regarding Sustainable Livelihood & Enterprise Development for Vulnerable Groups and to provide them an opportunity to practice these guidelines for business incubations in the targeted areas.

Free Medical Camp

Environmental Protection Society (EPS) under its project in collaboration with PPAF organized a Mobile free Medical camp in UC Koza Bandai on 29th March, 2010 in the hujra of Mr. Bahri Karam Khan.

Col. Naeem Arif, being the chief guest formally inaugurated the camp in the presence of large number of patients, attendants and other notables and elders of the area.

On this occasion Dr. Shabar Mian (Health Coordinator) of EPS briefed the audiences about the ongoing health activities to be carried out in UC Koza Bandai and other two UCs namely Kanju and Totano Bandai for the poor and needy patients.

In this camp five hundred and fifty (550) patients were examined by our medical team including Dr. Shafiq (Army Doctor)  who came with Col. Naeem Arif. All the patients were given free medicines.The army doctor specifically lauded the standard and quality of the medicines purchased for the patients.

All the elders of the Union Council, members of Aman Qumi Jerga showed full confidence and thanked each and every member of the medical team. They also issued an appreciation letter to EPS for taking great interest in the welfare of the patients.
