The CRS Consultant Miss: Mussarat Qadeem visited EPS office on December 03, 2009.
The Consultant met the EPS/CRS female staff and discussed the specified areas of the project with them. The Consultant also explained the women role in the project and asked the project staff how they could increase the direct participation of the vulnerable and deserving women and how could they benefit them from the Swat Livelihood Early Recovery (SLERP) project. The Consultant also asked the female staff how the women of the targeted area would be aware from the project and the methodology of Cash Grant, Cash for Work and Commodity Vouchers.
The female staff explained and briefed the Consultant about their intervention in community in that regard. The Consultant asked certain suggestions from the female staff which contributed to the livelihood program specifically. The Consultant met the Executive Director, EPS and appreciate the joint activity of the project launched by the EPS/CRS staff. She also appreciated the efforts done by the project staff.
