The main purpose of the meeting was to draw the attention of Provincial Government to the present deteriorated situation of Sanitation of Mingawara city and its impact on public health, economic, social development and the environment; and secondly to intimate the Minister about the steps taken by the organization (EPS) for the protection of environment in terms of sanitation and fresh water resources.

            The ED, EPS highlighted the initiatives taken by the organization for Natural Resource Management and also gave a short presentation of PFWR project. The minister was informed that revise master plan of Mingawara sanitation scheme is underway.

            The Minister in his remarks appreciated the significant efforts taken by the EPS with regard to environmental issues.  He stressed the need for early completion of revised sanitation master plan of Mingawara city so that further collaboration and intervention for the said sanitation scheme with provincial Government could be made possible. The minister assured EPS management of all type of support in every respect.
