The objective of the meeting was to enhance the capacity and to mobilize these CBOs and CCBs for their involvement in the project planning and management during and after the implementation of sanitation project.

As Community Based Organizations (CCBs) and Community Citizen Boards (CCBs) play an important and relevant role in providing social services at the local level and work in a variety of different fields. Wise management of the organization can contribute significantly to ensure the effectiveness of the work that it does.

The EPS ED identified tools for coalition or partnership characteristics and functioning. He further said that coalitions of CBOs and CCBs will form a pressure group. The aim of this pressure group will be to highlight their problems in a technical way and to resolve them in a professional manner.

The members of CBOs and CCBs highly appreciated the role of EPS regarding the environmental issues and also gave their suggestions to strengthen the coalition.
