Environmental Protection Society (EPS) is a non-governmental organization (NGO). Presently its main activities and projects are concentrated in District Swat but has intervened in other districts like Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Buner, Shangla, and Malaknd Agency and has therefore developed good working relations with most of the organizations and departments of these areas. Founded in 1991, EPS was registered in 1994 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It is a non-profit and non-ethnic organization concerned with the physical, social and cultural environmnet of the region.

Environmental Protection Society (EPS) organized 25 days Free Rehabilitation Camps for the People with Disabilities from 4th to 28th of July 2011 in three Union Councils of District Swat i.e. U/C Kanju, U/C Koza Bandai and U/C Tootano Bandai.
10 Days Workshop on Sustainable Livelihood & Enterprise Development for Vulnerable Groups

EPS Disability team attended 10 days workshop on “Sustainable Livelihood & Enterprise Development for Vulnerable Groups” from May 17-28, 2011 at ECI Islamabad. The aim of the workshop was to build the capacity of the staff regarding Sustainable Livelihood & Enterprise Development for Vulnerable Groups and to provide them an opportunity to practice these guidelines for business incubations in the targeted areas.
PPAF team visited EPS Office Swat from 25th till the 26th of April 2011 for the monitoring visit of EPS Disability component and to discuss the next steps of the programme for the successful implementation of the activities and on due time
